    Moretrench American Corporation is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated, knowledgeable, organized and positive Groundwater Treatment Manager to join our Rockaway, NJ office.


    The Groundwater Treatment Manager is responsible to oversee all aspects of the temporary groundwater treatment business for Moretrench.  This includes oversight of all groundwater treatment operations and business development for water treatment projects.  The manager must handle estimating, contract negotiation, contract management, revenue and cost reporting, change management, project budgets, client relations and business development. The manager must possess the technical skills and abilities to design basic temporary groundwater treatment systems.



    • Coordinate requests for quotation from suppliers and subcontractors
    • Manage proposal deadlines; coordinate the timely submittal of completed proposals
    • Complete the opportunity function in Groundworks; input client information, updated cost information, etc.
    • Manage all groundwater treatment equipment
    • Manage (performance expectations, constructive feedback, etc.) and mentor project team (project engineers, project coordinator, superintendent)
    • Accurately track the progress of the work and compare to project budget, notify project accountant of any significant deviations along with an explanation for the deviations
    • Complete presentations on completed projects to clients or consultants
    • Provide guidance to project teams to develop, submit, track and enforce project mobilization, quality, safety, environmental, staffing and execution plans




    • Minimum bachelor’s Degree in environmental / civil engineering; Construction Management or similar degree
    • Minimum 7-10 years’ progressively relevant experience in the groundwater treatment, environmental, or geotechnical construction industry
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Excellent communication skills (oral/written)
    • Demonstrated leadership skills
    • Good judgment and decision-making skills
    • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines
