HJ Foundation Company, part of the Keller Group of Companies, is a leading specialty foundation contractor. We are currently seeking a Piledriver to join our Tampa, FLoffice.
This position works on construction projects requiring worker with specified experience and ability to work under close supervision by performing the following duties.
Performs the functions required utilizing excavator, backhoe, loader and or bobcat safely working in close proximity with other equipment and personnel.
Read and understand the backhoe’s manual for the particular backhoe being operated by the employee.
Wear all safety Personal Protective Equipment when on jobsite at all times.
Understand and use the standard hand signals for the operation of a backhoe.
Inspect backhoe and related equipment for operational and safety factors, noting/correcting and notifying the Job Site Supervisor of any problems or deficiencies. Do this before operation every day utilizing the daily equipment checklists. This shall be done before any equipment is started and or moved at the beginning of the day.
Clean and lubricate backhoe (to include greasing undercarriage and ALL grease points, adding all engine fluids and power unit fluids) daily as per operator’s manual and specifications.
Employee is responsible of preserving and locating all piling layout.
Employee is to make sure the crane has a level surface to work on at all times.
Assist in any excavator related activities. For example, rebar cage staging and spoil removal.
Previous experience in related field preferred but not required.
Verbal and Written Communication Skills a must
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Many Physical Demands: regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee is required to sit for extended period of time.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
