    Overview

    Bencor, Inc. / Keller Foundations, LLC is a part of the leading international ground engineering firm, Keller Group, PLC based in the UK. As part of the leading specialty construction companies located across North America, we are seeking to fill a full-time position as a Senior project manager with 8+ years in construction and project management for slurry diaphragm walls and deep foundations used in large heavy civil projects based out of our office located in the Frisco, TX area.

     

    Responsibilities

    POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Overall responsibility for safety, quality and budget for projects of $10 to $150 million
    • Preparation of project status reports and work to ensure project objectives are achieved in accordance with contract specifications.
    • Direct and lead project team comprised of supervisory, administrative and engineering staff to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships.
    • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
    • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing project budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
    • Represent Bencor and manage their relationships to: Owners, Subcontractors, Suppliers and other outside stakeholders to the project.
    • Coordinate with local union and their respective business agents.
    • Manage Contract and Subcontract with General Contractors and Owners. Assist with change order and claim identification and pricing.
    • Communicate and enforce corporate, safety and environmental policies
    • Continuous travel will be required for both short and long term projects to accommodate project needs and schedules.

    Qualifications

    PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Demonstrated success in managing large projects in excess of $10 million and the ability to motivate staff/project team
    • Minimum 8 years of project management experience on large heavy civil projects
    • Bachelor’s degree in civil/geotechnical engineering – preference given to candidates with a graduate degree
    • Strong working knowledge of slurry/diaphragm walls and deep foundations for large heavy civil projects
    • Enthusiasm for project management, construction and working in a team environment
    • Good computer skills – experience with using Microsoft office suite and Oracle P6 scheduling software
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
